1. 4; The constant present in the first week combination is either
similar or different from the constant present in the second week
combination. Hence we can’t find the expenditures of first and second
weeks.

The increase is of Rs 2.50 for 10 tablets
Hence increase will be of 2.50 × 9 = 22.50 for 90 tablets
Asthmatic has to consume 30 tablets.
∴ increase = 5.00 × 3 = 15.00
∴ total increase = 22.50 + 15 = 37.50.
